How the Ecosun system works.
The natural, efficient and cost-effective way to heat your pool.
Rooftop Sensor
The pool collectors located on your roof absorb solar energy. A sensor located in the middle of the solar array provides information to the automatic controller.
Automatic Control
Once sufficient solar energy is available, the automatic controller signals the three-way valve to operate, diverting the pool water to the collectors.
Warmed Water Return
Heat is transferred from the collector to the water as it passes through the collector, and the warmed water returns to the pool.
During periods of low solar energy the three-way valve resets allowing water to by-pass the solar collectors. The existing heater then provides back-up supplemental heating. Perfect temperature control is assured with the automatic controller; you simply set the dial to your desired temperature, relax and let the sun do the rest.
